Games + Learning + Society is the other big gaming conference going on this week (July 12th & 13th). In years past the conference blog provided interviews, videos, and slides of the presentations. I'm hoping that there are similar resources this year as well. Unfortunately, I am not heading to Madison, but I'll still be posting relevant news stories and blog posts from others here.
Take a look at the daily program, there is a wide variety of sessions for designers and educators.
Zimmerman was just mentioned in an EDUCAUSE article and his session on Game Design as Model for Literacy looks incredible interesting.
I ran across Mark Chen's blog today and he will sitting on a panel about gaming communities. It looks interesting and I'm eager to read Mark's comments as someone presenting at GLS.
